DISTINGUISHED GENTLEMEN EVENT BLITZ

We have the pleasure of introducing author Anita Davis to the Distinguished Gentlemen anthology! As a co-founder for BE, she holds us down and we so appreciate her for it!  One way of describing her; if you remember Quinn from Hopelessly Forever by Angela Seals in the Once Upon a Bridesmaid series. Well, to some degree, that’s Anita wrapped up into a quirky – but loving – mess! Lol. 😘

We make room in this lineup for Jeremy Brighton…….

All Jeremy Brighton ever wanted to do was be a chef and own his own restaurant. Failed attempts at sustaining his dream sends him back to Chicago where he knows his restaurant can thrive. Problem is, the prime location for his neighborhood is in major need of revitalization. A bachelor auction planned to raise the remaining funds necessary to restore the hood may be the remedy to Southlake’s problem, but there’s no way Jeremy would ever agree to be a bachelor in the auction. Will his stubbornness cost him his restaurant dreams?

Naima Grant has moved to Chicago for several reasons: to be closer to her favorite cousin; to spend more time with her grandmother; and to put as much distance as she can from the life she once shared with her ex-husband. Southlake Park may be her good luck charm, especially when she learns she’ll be spending some much-needed time with her childhood crush. Yet just like before, he only sees her as a friend, but she plans to make the most of their time together whether he’s ready for her or not.

About Anita Davis Anita Davis writes women’s fiction fused with clean contemporary romance and seeks to encourage, engage, and entertain her readers.

Anita is a former elementary teacher born and raised in Chicago. Although she wrote short stories much of her childhood, she didn’t unlock and cultivate her passion as a writer until she became a writing teacher for middle school students. The more she had to create sample writings for her students, the more she realized her passion and ability to tell stories in the written form. She decided to hone her craft as a writer by completing her Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing via National University. She now pursues writing books most of her time, in addition to being a flight attendant and a substitute teacher. She is Co-Founder of Book Euphoria, a group of Chicago authors bound by their love of literature. Book Euphoria hosts Book It Chicago bi-annually, a literary event series and they also founded the empowerment movement, Black Girl Passion.
